Elevator Pitch

The Healthcare cut enacted by the Trump Administration have had a profound impact on the working-class families, increasing medical cost, and limiting access to essential care. These policy decisions have affected communities who struggle leading them become vulnerable, leaving many without any assistance. Our project seeks to advocate for these families, allowing them to speak out on their experiences within the Trump Administration funding policy within healthcare.

Healthcare Access Manifesto

Healthcare is RIGHT, right?

So, why are we losing access to something that should NEVER be considered a privilege? Friends and Families, our loved ones who depend on access to healthcare for the safety of their health are losing access. When healthcare funding is cut, people are forced to choose either saving their health or having a roof under their head. These funding cuts fall hardest on working class families who struggle to keep a roof under their head.

Healthcare should never be politicized, when people’s life is on the line, no one should have to make the decision on paying for survival, when it’s already a right to have, a necessity.

Healthcare should never be considered to be a privilege. Healthcare decisions are about people, not politics. Access to healthcare determines whether families can thrive or struggle. As a community, we must speak out about this matter to protect ourselves, and the ones you see daily at home.
